Budget Committee Vacancy - APPLICATION
BUDGET COMMITTEE APPLICATION – Accepting applications September 17 – October 31, 2025
The Budget Committee has the responsibility for reviewing the financial programs of the district, reviewing the proposed district budget as presented by the Superintendent, and recommending an annual budget in keeping with the provisions of applicable state laws. The Budget Committee consists of seven members appointed by the Board, plus the elected Board members. Budget Committee members must live and be registered to vote in the district, and may not be an officer, agent, or employee of the district.
The Budget Committee meets at least three times during the spring, in April, May and June. Meeting are normally in the evenings. Sometimes, more than three meetings are required. Terms are for a period of three years.
